Hey guys! It’s me, VaderFan2187, back again with another post! I saw Black Panther several days ago and really liked the movie, so I decided that I would take a look at all of the LEGO Black Panther minifigures.

LEGO Black Panther Minifigures

Black Panther

LEGO Black Panther Minifigure First Variant

There have been three versions of the LEGO Black Panther minifigure. This variant has appeared in two sets – 76103 The Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack and 76100 Royal Talon Fighter Attack. It has a face mask with visible eyes, which is a design I am not particularly fond of. His torso has some accurate lines and detailed black dots, while his ‘ear’ and leg pieces are unprinted.

LEGO Black Panther Minifigure Second Variant

An older variant of Black Panther came in a LEGO Captain America: Civil War set, 76047 Black Panther Pursuit. This one also had no leg printing, but had printing on his ‘ear’ cap piece and a different, though similar, torso print design. The mask also had closed eyes, which is a design Black Panther sports for most of Civil War and Black Panther and is my preferred design.

LEGO Black Panther Minifigure Third Variant

Finally, a third Black Panther variant appeared in 76099 Rhino Face-off by the Mine, the smaller of the two Black Panther sets. This one has unprinted legs and ‘ear’ cap, which is unfortunate. What distinguishes this minifigure from the other two variants is the blue coloring, which represents Black Panther’s suit charged up with kinetic energy. However, very annoyingly, this is inaccurate as Black Panther’s suit glows purple, not blue, in the movie! This is a very unfortunate inaccuracy.

Erik Killmonger

LEGO Erik Killmonger Minifigure First Variant

The villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are often derided as bland and boring, though if you ask me that is not at all the case for the villain of Black Panther, Erik ‘Killmonger’ aka N’Jadaka. Two minifigures have been released for Killmonger, and they look very different. The first variant here is the final battle outfit he wears as king, also known as the Golden Jaguar outfit. It has an unprinted ‘ear’ cap and legs, but has some nice golden detailing on the head and torso. What is slightly disappointing to me is that no weapons are included for this minifigure, as Killmonger wields two swords in the final battle scenes.

LEGO Erik Killmonger Minifigure Second Variant

The other minifigure of Killmonger represents the version seen in one scene in the movie, the part where Killmonger breaks Ulysses Klaue out of Everett Ross’ custody. He is the only minifigure from LEGO’s Black Panther sets to come with leg printing, and they are actually reused from the Mountain Police subtheme. His torso is blue and has the tactical vest that he wears for a significant portion of the film, while his mask is the one stolen from the British museum. Underneath the mask, his head is a generic head reused from Shocker which is disappointing as it does not look like Michael B. Jordan or his character at all. The character comes with a flick-fire missile launcher, though in the scene where he wore the mask Killmonger used a gun. I guess LEGO didn’t want to have too violent themes.

Ulysses Klaue

LEGO Ulysses Klaue Minifigure

Ulysses Klaue is the secondary villain of the movie Black Panther. One minifigure of him was made, which appears exclusively in 76100 Royal Talon Fighter Attack. Unfortunately, his head and hairpiece are not ideal for the Andy Serkis-portrayed character, as Klaue has much shorter hair than his minifigure suggests. However, the torso and legs are decently accurate, matching what Klaue wears for most of his scenes. His sonic arm cannon is represented with a gauntlet piece and a lightning bolt, which looks very odd and is inaccurate, though presumably it was based off inaccurate concept art.

Shuri

LEGO Shuri Minifigure

Black Panther’s sister Shuri was one of my favorite characters in the movie (along with Killmonger and Klaue). Letitia Wright’s character was a convincing sibling to Black Panther, and stole the show in most of her scenes. It would therefore have been a shame if LEGO never did a minifigure based on her. Fortunately, they did, as she appears in the Infinity War set 76103 The Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack. She wears the new orange jacket that Shuri wears in what we’ve seen of Infinity War, and comes with two gunmetal grey gauntlets (which are as accurate as you can get without making a new mold).

Okoye

LEGO Okoye Minifigure

The Dora Milaje are King T’Challa’s bodyguards in the comics and movies, and Okoye is their general. LEGO made a minifigure of Okoye, which appeared in 76099 Rhino Face-off by the Mine exclusively. She had a dark orange upper torso which had a pretty accurate torso print, though she lacked the dark red arms which are a distinctive feature of Okoye’s outfit. Her legs are also unprinted, which is a shame considering the Dora Milaje’s detailed outfits that continue onto their legs. Her head is rather generic, lacking Okoye’s distinctive head tattoos, though her trusty silver spear did appear in the movie.

Nakia

LEGO Nakia Minifigure

Last but not least in the LEGO Black Panther Minifigures list is Nakia, T’Challa’s love interest portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o. Her minifigure appeared in 76100 Royal Talon Fighter Attack, sporting a double-sided head and a new hairpiece which is reasonably accurate to Nakia’s hairstyle in some scenes. Her outfit is the Dora Milaje outfit which she wears in the final battle (even if she’s not one, as she helpfully told us), though sadly there is once again no leg printing. She comes with two new silver ring pieces which represent her ring blades.
